The SDP will permanently take over Aprons 1 and 2 on a 24-hour basis (H24).
All regular transfers between SDP and GND must have clearance limits that refer to intermediate holding points. If the maneuver cannot be executed using an intermediate holding point, it is considered as a non-regular transfer.
The SDP Operator will be responsible for issuing push-back and/or taxi instructions and approval to the transfer gate, and ensuring compliance with CDM time parameters.
When the aircraft approaches the transfer gate, SDP will instruct the aircraft to contact ground control. |
In arrivals, ground control will provide the aircraft with taxi instructions to the transfer gate. As the aircraft approaches the vicinity of the transfer gate, and is conflict-free, ground control will instruct the aircraft to contact the SDP on the appropriate frequency, maintaining the transfer gate as the clearance limit.
The aircraft may park in a parking position only if the docking guidance system has been activated. In the event that there is no docking guidance system, or it is not operational, the aircraft will follow the instructions of the lead marshaller / ground support marshall.
When occupying a parking position without using the docking guidance system, the procedure will be as follows:
The isolated aircraft stands are located in the "safety parking area" (located in the maneuvering area of the AIJC) where an aircraft subject to hijacking, unlawful interference, or bomb threats can be parked for as long as necessary for passenger boarding or disembarkation, inspection, and removal of baggage, cargo, mail, aircraft supplies, or other reasons. The use of these aircraft stands will be conducted under the provisions outlined in the Airport Emergency Plan. If the aircraft to be guided to the isolated aircraft stand is within the responsibility area of the SDP or needs to cross it, the SDP will coordinate with ground control for taxi routes and transfer gate.
LAP has the short push-back procedure on the apron, which is provided within its responsibility area. Communications are conducted through the SDP. The short push-back procedure is detailed in the Apron Procedure Manual:
